Maria Guzman is the Marketing Director for Giroski since its inception in 2007. Under her leadership, she has guided the planning, strategy, development and implementation of all marketing and communication strategies for the corporations that comprise the Giroski Group at a global level. In addition, Ms. Guzman is a member of the Board of Directors for the Giroski Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of less fortunate children in South Florida and Latin America.
Ms. Guzman has more than 20 years of professional experience, including the development of strategic plans, corporate image and branding, penetration of international markets, supply chain marketing, development of product lines, negotiations with international clientele, and building strategic alliances.
Before joining Giroski, Ms. Guzman was the Franchise Director for Gloria Hincapie Spa Group, where she successfully contributed to the development and launch of its international expansion strategy. Additionally, she was former Vice President of Marketing and Sales for Xerox in Colombia, where she earned various professional achievements awards, such as inclusion in the “Presidential Club” for four consecutive years. This honor is only for top sales producers who exhibit extraordinary performance and surpass company goals. For a number of years, Ms. Guzman directly contributed to Xerox’s increased market share and penetration throughout Colombia.
Graduated from Universidad Santiago de Cali, located in Cali, Colombia, Ms. Guzman earned her degree in business administration and completed a specialization in Marketing from Universidad del Rosario, located in Bogota, Colombia. |
