Mr. Gonzalez served for eight years as Regional Sales Director for Symmetricom Inc. He managed sales activities within Latin America, including Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean. As part of the Symmetricom sales team, he also developed and implemented the sales strategies for the region, including direct and channel sales. Mr. Gonzalez was responsible for hiring the sales team that sustained double digit sales growth year after year, and profit share growth from less than 50% to over 80% in eight years.
Prior to joining Symmetricom, Mr. Gonzalez spent four years working for Venezuela’s oil company PDVSA, as project manager for the implementation of automation and telecommunications infrastructure. Mr. Gonzalez holds a degree in electronics and has had extensive specialized training in logistics, quality control and process management. He is also a certified process quality auditor. |
